The second session of the ninth Huzhou Municipal People's Congress opened in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province on Dec 27, local media reported.
The main task of the congress is to elect deputies from the city to the 14th Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress. Two hundred and sixty-seven deputies were present at the meeting.
A draft report titled The Decision of Huzhou Municipal People's Congress on Promoting the High-level Construction of a Model City of Ecological Civilization was unveiled at the event.
