Huzhou's per capita disposable income tops 60,000 yuan in 2022

Huzhou's overall per capita disposable income in 2022 increased by 5.3 percent to 60,554 yuan ($8,650.57), official data from the Huzhou branch of the National Bureau of Statistics show.

Over the same period, the city's per capita consumption amounted to 38,322 yuan, up 7.1 percent year-on-year.

Specifically, the per capita disposable income of the city's urban residents rose 4.5 percent to 71,004 yuan, while that for rural residents was 44,112 yuan, up 6.8 percent.

Wages are still the biggest source of income for residents in Huzhou, followed by net operating income, net transfer income, and net asset income.

The per capita wage income of Huzhou's urban residents last year stood at 38,826 yuan, an increase of 3.8 percent year-on-year.

Their per capita operating income, net transfer income, and net asset income totaled 13,917 yuan, 11,342 yuan, and 6,959 yuan, up 4.3 percent, 6.8 percent, and 5 percent respectively.

For rural residents, the per capita wage income, operating income, net transfer income, and net asset income were 28,745 yuan, 10,936 yuan, 2,807 yuan, and 1,623 yuan respectively.
