Six scenic spots in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province were recently designated as national 3A level sites, local media reported.

Huzhou is currently home to 95 scenic spots, including one at the national 5A level, 26 at the national 4A level, and 68 at national 3A level. The 5A level is the highest level in the nation's grading system for scenic attractions.

The six newly added 3A scenic spots in the city are Huzhou Longchumo Scenic Spot, Mogan Xigu Scenic Spot, China Golden Larch Forest Park, Heye Health Museum, Lena Valley Scenic Spot, and Xilong Huangdu Golden Leave Scenic Spot.

Situated in Honglishan village, Huzhou's Wuxing district, Longchumo is a comprehensive eco-tourism complex for sightseeing, extreme sports, and study tours. The 580-mu (38.6 hectares) complex was built with an investment of 150 million yuan ($21.43 million).

China Golden Larch Forest Park, which sits at the junction of Anji county and Yuhang and Lin'an districts in Hangzhou, covers an area of about 5,500 mu and has an altitude of up to 1,064 meters.

It is the only park of its kind in China to be home to more than 50,000 golden larches, the most found in the nation.

Xilong Huangdu Golden Leave Scenic Spot is located in Huangdu village, which is renowned for producing Anji white tea, a premium variety of green tea.

The 235.46-hectare scenic area has built a wide range of facilities, including teahouses, campsites, and hotels, to cater to tourists' needs.
