A delegation consisting of more than 200 people from the World Tourism Alliance embarked a two-day tour of Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, on Feb 25.

The trip comes a day after the WTA inaugurated its headquarters in Hangzhou.

The visiting delegation included Martin Mpana, ambassador of the Republic of Cameroon to China, Hussam Al Husseini, ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to China, Bishnu Pukar Shrestha, ambassador of Nepal to China, and Liu Shijun, vice chairman and secretary general of the World Tourism Alliance.

During the two-day trip, the guests visited places like Taihu Lake Longemont Paradise and Mount Mogan and witnessed local artisans making paper-cutting works and Mogan Huangya, a premium variety of tea in Huzhou.

The World Tourism Alliance is a global, non-governmental, non-profitable tourism organization. Its headquarters and secretariat are both located in China.
