Conference to explore rural culture, tourism development in YRD

The fourth Yangtze River Delta Rural Culture and Tourism Maker Conference will take place in Nanxun district, Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province on March 17.

The conference has since its inception in 2019 grown to become an important event themed on rural culture and tourism development in the Yangtze River Delta, a region encompassing the provinces of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui as well as Shanghai municipality.

This year, more than 200 makers will participate in the event, which is aimed at strengthening connections between makers and investors involved in the rural culture and travel sector in the delta region.

The award ceremony for a contest soliciting excellent rural culture and tourism projects will be held on the sidelines of the conference.

Ten out of over 150 entries related to homestay, rural night tourism, theme park and smart tourism received by the organizers will be selected as the final winners and given policy support.
