A delegation of Tanzanian women, who are part of a program launched by China Women's University to provide capacity-building training to women in Tanzania, recently embarked on a tour of Huzhou in East China's Zhejiang province.

The four-day trip, which ran from June 11 to 14, saw the delegation visit places like Wusi village to observe how local women participate in economic development, entrepreneurship, and rural vitalization.

The participants also had the chance to hone their handicraft skills by creating items like fluffy toys, bamboo crafts, and traditional fans.

"I am astonished to witness the Chinese people's hard work and wisdom in developing the countryside and economy," said one Tanzanian participant. "I want to share what I saw and heard with my family so that the people back home can appreciate China's progress."

The visit highlights the importance of cross-cultural exchange and capacity-building opportunities, and sets an example of meaningful cooperation between China and Tanzania, said a local official.
