The National Conference on Private Enterprises' Green and Low-carbon Development was held in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, on July 11.

Distinguished officials, including Xu Lejiang, vice-minister of the United Front Department of the Communist Party of China, An Lijia, vice chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Lu Shan, vice governor of Zhejiang, Chen Hao, Party chief of Huzhou, and Hong Hupeng, mayor of Huzhou, were present at the conference.

One highlight of the conference was the release of a list of exemplary private companies contributing to green and low-carbon development in China. Among them was Tianneng Holdings Group, based in Huzhou.

In addition, the conference marked the inauguration of the Alliance of Private Enterprises' Green and Low-carbon Development, which aims to promote sustainable practices among private enterprises. Its first liaison office was established in Huzhou, reinforcing the city's commitment to environmental consciousness and low-carbon initiatives.
