Xifengyang Smart Center, located in the Southern Taihu Lake New District of Huzhou, has officially commenced operations, according to local media reports.

The center, a collaborative project between China Energy Conservation and Huzhou Talent Group, has received a total investment of approximately 2 billion yuan ($277.02 million). It aims to provide a comprehensive platform for youth innovation, project incubation, entrepreneurial investment, and business support. 

The center is a vital part of the Xisai Scientific Valley, which houses laboratories set up by world-renowned universities, including Xi'an Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University, and the University of Science and Technology of China. The valley, touted as a catalyst for innovation in the Yangtze River Delta region, positions the Xifengyang Smart Center as a key contributor to technological advancements in the area.
