Huzhou's per capita disposable income reaches 34,749 yuan in H1

Huzhou's overall per capita disposable income in the first half of this year increased by 6.1 percent to 34,749 yuan ($4,866.22), official data from the Huzhou branch of the National Bureau of Statistics show.

Over the same period, the city's per capita consumption amounted to 19,881 yuan, up 8.1 percent year-on-year.

Specifically, the per capita disposable income of the city's urban residents rose 5.5 percent to 40,118 yuan, while that for rural residents was 26,332 yuan, up 7.1 percent.

Wages are still the biggest source of income for residents in Huzhou, followed by net operating income, net transfer income, and net asset income.

The per capita wage income of Huzhou's urban residents last year stood at 38,826 yuan, an increase of 3.8 percent year-on-year, while their per capita net operating income, net transfer income, and net asset income totaled 8,616 yuan, 6,060 yuan, and 3,936 yuan, up 6.1 percent, 9.4 percent, and 6.9 percent, respectively.

For rural residents, the per capita wage income, operating income, net transfer income, and net asset income were 16,450 yuan, 6,921 yuan, 1,989 yuan, and 972 yuan, respectively.
