Three Huzhou counties - Anji, Changxing, and Deqing - were recently listed among the top 100 counties in China in terms of comprehensive tourism strength in 2023.

Anji topped the list for the fifth year in a row, while Changxing and Deqing ranked third and seventh, respectively, according to a recent report.

In recent years, Huzhou has accelerated the integration of culture and tourism. It has ranked among the top three places in Zhejiang for five years in a row in terms of the annual investment growth rate of cultural and tourism projects.

With three national-level tourist resorts, eight national-level key villages for rural tourism, and 3,353 rural homestays, Huzhou has also topped the province in terms of the total income generated from rural tourism operations for seven consecutive years.
