An e-sports contest kicked off at the cultural auditorium in Caojiaqiao village, Changxing county, Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province on Aug 27 to celebrate the upcoming Asian Games and enhance the city's cultural vibrancy.

The contest, which includes 16 teams representing different villages, has seen fierce competition in the preliminary rounds. Four villages - Caojiaqiao, Xujiabang, Zhangbang, and Wufeng - have emerged as the standout teams and advanced to the final round, set to take place on Sept 3.

Huzhou, as one of the co-host cities for the 19th Asian Games, has been entrusted with hosting the volleyball events and 3-on-3 basketball competitions.
