2 Huzhou villages win national honor

Two villages in Huzhou, East China's China have been recognized for their beauty and recreational appeal. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs recently announced that Xiangyang village and Fangyi village have made the 2023 list of beautiful leisure villages in the country.

Nestled in Nanxun district's southwest, Xiangyang village captivates visitors with its breathtaking landscape. One of its most remarkable features is the exquisite Xiangyang Avenue, extending for 4.13 kilometers and measuring 7.5 meters in width. This scenic pathway is embellished with graceful willow trees and vibrant greenery, creating a picturesque setting that enchants all who visit.

Meanwhile, located in Changxing county's Xiaopu town, Fangyi village is renowned for its ancient ginkgo trees, one of which is over 1,300 years old. These centuries-old natural wonders lend the village a mesmerizing allure, resulting in its designation as a national 3A-level tourist scenic area.
