A delegation of 20 representatives from 12 elevator companies in Huzhou in East China's Zhejiang province recently attended the Jeddah International Elevator Exhibition in Saudi Arabia.

This delegation was part of a government-led program aimed at promoting international opportunities for local businesses through participation in overseas exhibitions.

The Jeddah International Elevator Exhibition, known as one of the largest elevator exhibitions in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East region, provided an excellent platform for the Huzhou delegation to showcase their state-of-the-art technologies and innovative elevator solutions.

The Huzhou Municipal Council for the Promotion of International Trade revealed that Saudi Arabia, the host country of the 2029 Asian Winter Games, is currently undergoing significant infrastructure development, resulting in a high demand for elevators.

This positive trend was further illustrated during the exhibition, as representatives from Sicher Elevator Co Ltd, one of the participating Huzhou companies, expressed their optimism about the potential growth of Saudi Arabia's elevator market.

"We had the opportunity to witness firsthand the rapid progress of Saudi Arabia's infrastructure construction. This visit has solidified our belief in the immense prospects within the country's elevator market," stated a spokesperson from Sicher Elevator Co Ltd.

Huzhou has organized delegations to various countries, including Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, France, and the United States, this year. These initiatives have played a vital role in facilitating the overseas expansion of Huzhou businesses.
