The preliminary round of the men's volleyball event at the Hangzhou Asian Games concluded on Sept 21 at the Deqing Sports Center Gymnasium in Huzhou.

Throughout the day, the venue hosted three matches, showcasing the talents of six teams.

The morning match featured Hong Kong against Qatar, where Qatar emerged as the victor with a score of 3-1.

At 2:30 pm, Indonesia and Afghanistan faced off in a highly competitive match. After an intense battle, Indonesia emerged victorious with a score of 3-0.

The highlight of the day was the evening match between the Philippines and Japan. Both teams displayed their exceptional skills and determination, constantly challenging each other. However, as the final whistle blew, Japan emerged triumphant with a clean sweep of 3-0.
