Huzhou in East China's Zhejiang province has achieved remarkable results in the national evaluation for China's service outsourcing demonstration cities and applying cities in 2022. The evaluation, conducted by the Ministry of Commerce and other relevant departments, ranked Huzhou as the second-best among the 13 evaluated cities in the country.

During the evaluation process, Huzhou outperformed other cities in terms of public service level and expert review. It also received high scores for its policy measures.

In 2022, Huzhou's service outsourcing execution reached 13.57 billion yuan ($1.85 billion), marking a 31.9-percent year-on-year increase. This positions the city as the third-largest in terms of scale and the second-fastest-growing in Zhejiang province.

In the first three quarters of this year, Huzhou's service outsourcing industry continued to flourish. The total execution amount reached 9.99 billion yuan, representing an uptick of 14 percent year-on-year. Within the province, Huzhou secured the third position in terms of scale and the fourth position in terms of growth rate.
