Huzhou's Anji county has been recognized as a provincial trailblazer in the high-quality advancement of agricultural mechanization, as announced by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.

This accolade is a testament to Anji's outstanding execution of an initiative launched by Zhejiang aimed at further enhancing the efficiency and productivity of the agricultural sector in the region by substituting machines for human labor.

As evidence of Anji's fervent championing of the progress of agricultural mechanization, the current total power of major agricultural machinery in the county has reached 267,000 kilowatts. Over the past three years, the local government has established six agricultural machinery service centers, 13 fully mechanized application bases, four agricultural machinery innovation trial bases, and nine digital agricultural machinery application bases.

The county has achieved full mechanization across various stages of its tea production and rice and wheat cultivation. Notably, the mechanization rate in the rice and wheat industry has surged from 90 percent to 93 percent.
