Huzhou has clinched the sixth spot in the national ranking for industrial belt product sales on Douyin, the Chinese equivalent of TikTok, in 2023, reaffirming its dominance in the e-commerce landscape.

The achievement can be largely credited to Huzhou's excellence in children's wear manufacturing, with Zhili town emerging as a major center, and the inception of a specialized online wholesale platform dedicated to children's apparel.

The platform, inaugurated in September 2023, has swiftly garnered the interest of 3,000 suppliers hailing from various regions across the nation. Leveraging Douyin as its primary sales conduit, the platform has evolved into a prominent B2B children's clothing matching platform, prominently positioned in Zhili while extending its influence to Zhengzhou, Changzhou, and Quanzhou.

During the final quarter of the preceding year alone, the platform witnessed a staggering transaction volume of 1 billion yuan ($138.01 million).

Simultaneously, the platform has established an e-commerce livestreaming hub in Zhili. The platform has already nurtured a cadre of over 500 children's wear influencers, helping more than 2,000 merchants showcase their merchandise on the e-commerce platform, resulting in a substantial surge in business activity.
