A special festival commenced in Xinshi Ancient Town in Deqing county, Huzhou, Zhejiang province, on the evening of July 15, offering residents and tourists a summer reprieve from the hot weather.

The event featured a variety of captivating activities, including live band performances that ignited the summer night and a waterside cinema providing a unique viewing experience. Furthermore, participants were able to relieve pressure with cool water at the water-splashing carnival and savor beers and crays at the beer festival.

In addition to residents, the festival also attracted tourists from other cities to immerse themselves in the fusion of historical charm and modern entertainment. The diverse offerings catered to different tastes, from food and drinks to art performances and leisure activities.

Xu Kejia, marketing manager of Xinshi Ancient Town Tourism Development Co, highlighted the festival's role in boosting local consumption and stimulating tourism, lighting up the night of this ancient town.

The festival will run until Aug 24, promising a summer of cool and excitement for all attendees.
