A groundbreaking ceremony for five projects was held in Tongzhou district, Nantong, Jiangsu province, on Feb 18.

With a total investment of 2.1 billion yuan ($289.36 million), the five projects cover a range of industries, including high-end textiles, live streaming e-commerce, and intelligent equipment.

Among these projects is the Outong high-end textile production base, which has received a 500 million yuan investment and will cover an area of 2.6 hectares.

Upon reaching full production, the project is expected to generate annual taxable sales of 500 million yuan, while taxes amounting to 15 million yuan.
