Print PrintThe first phase of the Leju humanoid robot data training center in Pingyin county, Jinan, began operations in November, marking the city's first humanoid robot training center. Established in collaboration with leading industry enterprise, Leju Robot, the center is the third humanoid robot data training center in China, following Beijing and Suzhou.
Covering an area of 21,000 square meters, with the first phase spanning 5,200 sqm, the center offers 12 training scenarios – simulated or real-world environments where humanoid robots can learn, practice, and test skills. These include 3C (computer, communication, and consumer electronics) manufacturing, new energy vehicles, industrial logistics, and commercial services. The facility also features experience zones with humanoid robots.
According to Wang Yao, the project manager, engineers train robots in critical skills and collect data points during their operations. The center is expected to generate three million data points annually, which will support customized robot training for local enterprises and provide solutions for intelligent upgrades.
