Gucheng Mountain - Qilixia Scenic Resort is located in Gucheng village, north of Wangcang county. Gucheng Mountain, or Qilixia Scenic Resort, is composed of three main parts, namely, Gucheng Mountain, Qilixia and Bailong Palace.

Gucheng Mountain is primarily a mountainous region complemented by forest landscape, wild animals and underground landscape. It is shaped like a Gu (Chinese drum) walled in by the surrounding precipices that rise to heights of from 150 to 200 meters. The mountaintop is vast and flat, covering an area of 20,000 to 30,000 square meters. Gucheng Mountain not only provides beautiful views, but also a colorful culture. It is a sacred place for Confucianism, Buddhism and Daoism. It is dotted by historical sites and has deep-rooted history and culture.

The Qilixia Scenic Resort lies in the middle of the region. Covering an area of 29 square kilometers, it is a 3-kilometer long and 12-to-15-meter wide valley. The main spots include the Couple Tree, waterfalls, Yu'nyu Spring and Hongye Bank.

In the Bailong Palace, the river is emerald green and clear while the mountain is high and steep, like a shield and a sword. The zone's scenic spots include Bailong Palace, Heilong Pool and the site of the Iron Buddhist Temple.
