The Grand Union of Innovation – situated in Hefei city in East China's Anhui province – recently invited Zhang Xiaodong, president of the Wuzhen Institute, to give a lecture.
It's aim was to help its member companies and entrepreneurs catch up with the latest in technological trends and learn about large-scale models.
Zhang noted that he had observed that most applications built on cognitive models now lacked mathematical and logical skills. This meant, he added, that combining these skills into large-scale models was a task that developers needed to resolve at the moment.
Zhang said that with the development of artificial intelligence, large-scale AI models were now landing in the country one after another with various applications presenting themselves.
At present, Hefei is promoting its industrial transformation and upgrading in traditional industries, as well as seizing opportunities in strategic emerging industries.
In recent years the city has seen the rapid development of the artificial intelligence industry, as it's cultivated its leading and high-growth companies, including iFlytek and Zepp Health.
The Grand Union of Innovation is speeding up its development and is expanding its global influence as well. Deeply integrated with leading local industries, it has greatly promoted the regional integration of development and contributed to the rapid growth of Hefei's industrial scale.
