Grand Union of Innovation – located in Hefei city in East China's Anhui province – plans to build a "fund forest," with the amount of funds under management totaling more than 200 billion yuan ($27.53 billion).
The fund will conduct industry guidance, which means attracting domestic and international resources to the strategic industries and key industries of Grand Union of Innovation via participating in sub-funds.
The fund will focus on key provincial and municipal industries, strategic emerging industries and future industries.
