The "Chuangxiang China" Anhui Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition concluded on Dec 4 at Zhong'an Chuanggu Technology Park – located in Hefei city in East China's Anhui province – with an awards ceremony.
Out of 1,756 projects, 10 first prizes, 20 second prizes, 30 third prizes and 40 excellent projects were selected after thorough evaluations in the preliminary, semi-final and final rounds.
Additionally, 10 exceptional organizational units and 10 top investment institutions were recognized.
The organizers said that compared with previous times, this year's competition saw wider and increased participation and had a greater influence – featuring first-rate teams and individuals presenting innovative and practical projects.
"These projects not only exhibit high originality and innovation, but also possess strong practicality and market potential," said Liu Wenfeng, an official at the Development and Reform Commission of Anhui Province.
At a signing ceremony, 16 winning projects from outside the province and overseas officially confirmed their intention to settle in Anhui province.
The event also featured a policy-capital matchmaking meeting. This provided a platform for winning projects to engage in comprehensive discussions with local authorities – on geographical advantages, economic development and the business environment – facilitating a more efficient and in-depth understanding of local policies.
Zhong'an Chuanggu tech park, a key player in the Grand Union of Innovation – a technological innovation hub in Hefei – is said to be dedicated to supporting tech projects and assisting entrepreneurs in Anhui to achieve their innovation aspirations.
Winning projects will receive comprehensive support to settle in Anhui, as announced by the competition organizer, Zhong'an Chuanggu Company.
