The new Innovation Unit of Ijiwei, based in the Grand Union of Innovation or GUI – was launched on Jan 19 in the core area of the GUI.
The GUI itself is a tech innovation service hub based in Hefei city, capital of East China's Anhui province.
Founded in 2008, Ijiwei provides a broad spectrum of consultancy and support services across the information and communications technology or ICT industry. It covers areas like branding, information, intellectual property, investment and career advancement.
Ijiwei was selected as one of the first global partners of the GUI. The company will leverage its extensive pool of university scientific and technological achievements to support the development of the GUI. Within five years, it hopes to attract over 80 high-quality enterprises.
Ijiwei also unveiled its Ijiwei Technology Transfer Project Library platform on the same day. The platform, which covers the entire semiconductors industry supply chain, aims to promote collaboration between universities and enterprises. It will also aim to accelerate the transformation and commercialization of technological achievements.
The platform was built through ongoing communications with top universities and research institutes in China – including Tsinghua University in Beijing, Fudan University in Shanghai and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. It provides a comprehensive and up-to-date overview of the latest technological achievements.
The platform is open to the public, including universities, research institutes, companies and investment institutions. It is said to provide a valuable information resource for anyone interested in learning about technological achievements in the semiconductors industry.
