Hefei explores business opportunities in UAE

A delegation comprising representatives from Hefei High-tech Zone, GUiTEK service platform and other enterprises embarked on a journey to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Ajman in the United Arab Emirates on April 22, with a mission to foster international exchanges and seize business prospects.

During the five-day visit, the delegation engaged in extensive discussions with local authorities and enterprises, signing a memorandum of understanding to advance the construction of the Hefei-Middle East business port. This initiative aims to bolster economic ties between the two regions.

An investment promotion event was organized by the GUiTEK service platform in Dubai. The emerging industrial advantages of Hefei High-tech Zone and GUi, such as AI, integrated circuits, and renewable energy, were fully revealed to introduce more collaboration with Middle Eastern countries.

Furthering their agenda, three enterprises interested in listing on the Nasdaq Dubai Exchange also visited the office and held discussions with representatives of the Exchange, paving the way for potential overseas listings.

To ensure a smooth transition for enterprises to establish a presence in the region, the delegation sought insights from various institutions, including the Chinese Consulate General in Dubai, regarding local policies and market dynamics.
