GUi gains momentum with enhanced ecosystem, collaborative partners

Grand Union of Innovation (GUi) is forging ahead after two years of establishment with a strengthened ecosystem and a network of collaborative partners, propelling the innovation hub into the spotlight. 

Tools to improve such an environment for innovation and entrepreneurship have emerged continuously in the past two years. Back in April, Future Light Cone Accelerator, a joint initiative between the renowned science dissemination platform, Guokr and its partners, started operations in GUi.

The accelerator stands out as a new breed of accelerator, integrating investment, incubation, and powerful communication capabilities. In August 2023, the accelerator was selected from over 200 global institutions to become a global partner of GUi.

The accelerator signed agreements with several partners, which have brought expertise in academia, technology transfer, talent recruitment, business attraction, science and technology services, and science communication.

Yunxiu Capital, a leading tech investment firm, is also a global partner of GUi. Originating from Shanghai and rooted in Hefei, the company chooses GUi to settle its global headquarters as it values Anhui's universities and research institutions, recognizing its innovative environment.

"Yunxiu will bridge high-tech projects from developed areas like Shanghai to Hefei, enhancing connections across the Yangtze River Delta", the company's founder added.

The headquarters will focus on incubating, introducing, accelerating, and integrating tech industries, boosting innovation in Hefei and the entire Anhui province. Alongside other partners, they provide advanced tech services to entrepreneurs and businesses in GUi.

GUi has established nine innovation centers domestically and internationally, including in Hong Kong, Silicon Valley in the United States, and Lyon in France. GUi Hong Kong Center leverages the advantages of local markets and resources to foster multifaceted cooperation with overseas resources.
