Since 2022, GUi has made significant strides, introducing 25 innovative measures in the science and technology sector. These efforts have led to the registration of 1,520 new technology-based enterprises and attracted 59,000 entrepreneurs and professionals, positioning GUi as a key hub for technological and industrial innovation in Anhui province and beyond.
Wang highlighted GUi's role as a "test field" for reforming the science and technology system and a "high-yield field" for the high-tech industry. He emphasized the need to continue refining the innovation ecosystem and elevating GUi into a globally recognized center for innovation.
The collaboration between the administration and market forces should be furthered in driving GUi's internal energy and innovation power while integrating all factors for reform and innovation.
The meeting also called for the enhanced synergy between enterprises, universities, research facilities and financial firms, distilling industrial and commercial benefits from scientific research.
The operational capacity of GUiTEK service platform, the all-encompassing management company of GUi, is also to be leveled up. Additionally, efforts will be made to amplify the influence of GUi guiding fund and brand communication, making GUi a charging station for the high-quality development of Anhui province.
