Zhongke Kele New Material Company, a leading materials startup based in Grand Union of Innovation(GUi), Hefei, is advancing the development of high-performance polyolefin materials used in everyday products such as plastic bags and shoe soles. With a focus on innovation, the company has developed an innovative E-POE process, which reduces reliance on imported raw materials and lowers production costs. This new technology is already being applied in photovoltaics and lightweight automotive materials.
In GUi, the company has benefited from a robust support system, including technological innovation resources, policy incentives, and environmental access to top talent. The company's collaboration with universities and research institutions, as well as other high-tech enterprises, is key to its continued growth.
"In Anhui province, the provincial government and the GUi are actively promoting the development of the photovoltaic and automotive industries, encouraging technological innovation and industrial upgrades, providing a supportive environment for businesses," Huang Yukun, the vice chief executive of operation said, "and we are advancing the construction of a catalyst production base in Anqing and, in collaboration with Beijing Zhonghai Polymer Technology, establishing a 100,000-ton E-POE high-end polyolefin materials factory. With our breakthroughs in photovoltaic materials and lightweight automotive solutions, more related enterprises and projects across the industry chain will be drawn to the area, creating a cluster effect."
Landing in GUi has been a boost for our company, Huang added. By tapping into the region's rich pool of talent and robust research capabilities, the company has been able to accelerate our growth.
