GUi introduces 1st batch of industrial public service platforms

Grand Union of Innovation (GUi) has introduced its first batch of industrial public service platforms to tackle scattered resources and information gaps, offering startups one-stop access to concept verification, testing labs, and shared equipment.

The Power Testing Center of the Institute of Energy, Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center, established in December 2021, is located at No 369 Huayuan Avenue, Baohe district, Hefei, Anhui province.

The institute has capabilities in reliability testing and failure analysis of semiconductor power devices, performance testing of lithium-ion battery materials and battery packs, and China Metrology Accreditation (CMA) qualifications. It offers services of semiconductor power device parameter testing, reliability testing, failure analysis, and power device packaging, and shares over 20 types of instruments, including Mentor power cycle testing systems and ultrasonic scanning microscopes.

The Institute of Health and Medicine, Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center, a new-type research and development institution focusing on new drug development and medical devices, is located at the intersection of Susong and Guanhai roads, Hefei Economic and Technological Development Area.

With eight research institutes, one support platform, and multiple joint research centers, with key focuses on epigenetic regulation, immunotherapy for major diseases, targeted anti-tumor drugs and novel cell therapies. It provides shared instrument services such as metabolomics and proteomics analysis and flow cytometry multi-color analysis. Led by Academician Tian Zhigang, the institute is becoming an important driving force for the high-quality development of the biomedical industry in Anhui.

The Institute of Dataspace, Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center, founded on May 6, 2022, takes data reconstruction of cyberspace as its core concept, committing to the fields of cybersecurity and data element innovation.

It provides shared services of AI evaluation systems and autonomous driving algorithm testing systems for local enterprises. The former assesses model performance for optimization, while the latter enables low-cost, high-efficiency autonomous driving algorithm testing. The platform is at Gongtou Zhigu Park, No 288 Chuangxin Avenue, Hefei High-tech Zone, Anhui province.

Launched in June 2022, GUi has attracted over 2,000 new tech enterprises and gathered more than 70,000 innovation and entrepreneurship professionals. The industrial public service platforms aim to better support early-stage tech companies, addressing key challenges such as fragmented innovation resources and information asymmetry.
