GUi boosts Anhui-Uzbekistan innovation cooperation

A delegation from the Anhui Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan recently visited the Grand Union of Innovation (GUi), where it engaged in exchanges with representatives from various local innovative platforms and institutions, aiming to explore new pathways for the international development of Anhui enterprises in the Central Asian market, particularly in Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, Liu Zhenyuan, president of the Anhui Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan, highlighted the development opportunities in Uzbekistan. He said that as a populous country in Central Asia with abundant natural resources, Uzbekistan maintains a steady economic growth rate and is transitioning from the early stages to the mid-stage of industrialization, making it one of the most dynamic countries in the region with significant market potential.

Companies based in the GUi, including OVCTEK China and Fuqing Medical, introduced their business development and competitive advantages, expressed interest in exploring market opportunities in in Uzbekistan and the Central Asian market as a whole. 

Representatives of the Anhui Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan proposed initiatives to promote the localization of Anhui industrial products in Uzbekistan, including discussions on establishing assembly plants to enhance synergy of the industrial chain. They expressed their commitment to strengthening regular communication with the Hefei municipal government and the GUi to jointly develop feasible cooperation plans.

A representative from the GUiTEK Service Platform emphasized the company's focus on technology and technology application, highlighting its efforts to help Anhui enterprises go global.

This visit has injected momentum into cross-regional innovation cooperation between Anhui and Uzbekistan. The strategic coordination and practical alignment between the two sides will accelerate the entry of high-quality Anhui enterprises into the Central Asian market, adding vitality to the high-quality construction of the Belt and Road.
