On July 28, the first GUi-Victoria Harbor Forum, focusing on technological innovation, industrial integration, and overseas strategy, was held in Hong Kong, facilitating discussions on bridging global pathways for sci-tech innovation.
It brought together governmental representatives, leading scholars, industry leaders, and venture capital investors from Anhui and Hong Kong to support technological innovation.
The forum featured speeches from prominent speakers from Hong Kong, including Doctor Ge Ming from the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau and members of the Legislative Council.
They expressed hopes of collaborating with Anhui to nurture new productive forces and promote industrial upgrading.
Wang Jing, vice president of GUiTEK, extended an invitation to global innovators to collaborate with GUi in pursuing growth and shared opportunities.
At the forum, He Li, vice president of GUiTEK, Wang Xiaodong, general manager of the Smart City Division of the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), and Jason Zhang, managing director of Huawei Cloud Hong Kong, delivered keynote speeches and emphasized the significance of industrial integration and implementing overseas strategies.
He Li also introduced the upcoming fourth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition of Anhui.
"The competition features a startup group, with a total prize pool of 2.7 million yuan ($375,300). Teams that choose to establish their businesses in Anhui will benefit from comprehensive support policies," He said.
The following two round table discussions saw in-depth dialogue between more than 10 experts, entrepreneurs, and academic leaders, focusing on technological innovation, overseas trends, and strategies for cross-border cooperation.
