Exhibition in Hefei bridges technology and everyday life

A special exhibition featuring technological innovation empowering people's everyday life was held on Aug 27 and 28 at the Hefei Municipal People's Government in East China's Anhui province.

Organized by Hefei's special task force on technological application scenarios and the Hefei Scenario Application Innovation Promotion Center, the exhibition brought together 19 local small and medium-sized tech enterprises, including 10 from the Grand Union of Innovation (GUi), covering cutting-edge fields such as synthetic biology, quantum information, health monitoring, and new materials.

The event aimed to bring innovative technologies closer to the public, offering tangible and interactive innovation.

Zhongke Radio Sensing AI Technology, which specializes in electromagnetic AI (EMAI) technology and offers health monitoring services, showcased its two products — one can collect key data such as heart rate and atrial fibrillation without any wearable devices, while the other can evaluate stroke risk through a non-contact video and voice analysis.

Anhui Zhongtuo Beiyuan New Materials presented its superhydrophobic and superhydrophilic materials. Visitors were impressed after a rearview mirror treated with the superhydrophobic coating was tested — leaving no trace of water.

Daye Exhibition's digital image activation technology also garnered attention. In front of its booth, static exhibits came to life, presented vividly in naked-eye 3D, with images changing as the viewer moves. This technology is widely used in museums, advertising media, and industrial design.

At the booth of Anhui Panshi Additive Intelligent Technology, visitors watched as their full-body photos were transformed into 3D figures.

Hefei Shenbi Biotechnology, a pioneer in plant gene editing and synthetic biology, presented its high-brightness self-luminous plants, offering a unique low-carbon lighting solution suitable for home decoration and creative scenes.

"The event not only showcases the innovative achievements of tech enterprises in Hefei but also helps companies expand their market presence. It allows the public a glimpse into new technologies that can be used in daily life," said a manager of the Hefei Scenario Application Innovation Promotion Center.
