The Grand Union of Innovation (GUi), an innovation hub located in Hefei, East China's Anhui province, recently hosted the second session of its flagship training camp for individuals interested in technological innovation and entrepreneurship at GUi Space.
The training camp is designed to provide a platform for individuals involved in seed-stage innovation and entrepreneurship projects, fostering ongoing innovation and contributing to Anhui's pursuit of high-level scientific and technological independence and self-sufficiency.
The camp concentrated on strategic efforts through policy briefings on innovation and entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial courses, matchmaking for investment and financing, and expert consultations, all aimed at supporting start-up businesses.

Hefei has long been exploring the power of the market and capital to support technological innovation. Over the years, it has developed a unique development path that combines innovation, industry, and capital.
During this training camp, detailed introductions were given on Hefei's policies regarding the commercialization of technological research achievements, the city's venture capital landscape, talent support policies, and specific policies related to GUi. These presentations highlighted Hefei's strong position as a hot spot for venture capital.
The comprehensive policy interpretations, covering supportive measures and service guarantees, emphasized Hefei's focus on innovative projects and boosted participants' confidence in establishing their entrepreneurial ventures in the city.
The camp also featured expert consultations and investment matchmaking sessions. Entrepreneurship teams presented their projects to investors and industry experts on-site, with opportunities to initiate follow-up cooperation.
The camp's curriculum included pitch techniques, business models, intellectual property, finance, and taxation. It also offered expert consultation and investment and financing matchmaking sessions.
GUi's training camp uses rolling enrollment and phased selection to find and support aspiring innovators. High-quality projects are entered into GUi's "Seed Bank" for targeted services, providing comprehensive support throughout the project lifecycle.
