GUiTEK and the Hefei Scenario Application Innovation Promotion Center, both based in Hefei in East China's Anhui province, led a delegation of local enterprises to Marbella, Spain in June for the inaugural SilkBridge Capital Summit. This is the first global event focusing on the alignment of industries and capital from China, Europe, and the Gulf countries.
The event, jointly organized by the government of Marbella City and SilkBridge Capital, a cross-continental platform built to fund, launch, and scale businesses across Europe and China, came in the wake of GUiTEK and SilkBridge Capital signing a strategic cooperation agreement in April to build an international gateway for Chinese enterprises' global expansion.
The summit featured a diverse range of activities, including one-on-one closed-door meetings, thematic forums, roundtable discussions, and business networking. Representatives from family trust offices, angel investors, venture capitalists, and strategic capital from 11 countries, including the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, the Middle East, and Northern Europe, participated in the event.
GUiTEK availed itself of the summit to highlight its development achievements and its guiding fund system. It also engaged in one-on-one closed-door meetings with international investment institutions in order to explore opportunities for cross-border capital cooperation.

As a highlight of the event, GUiTEK and the Hefei Scenario Application Innovation Promotion Center signed a strategic cooperation agreement with SilkBridge Capital, establishing a European scenario validation and international industrial synergy mechanism for hard technology projects.
This facilitates moves by Anhui's hard tech enterprises to access the industrial scenarios and capital network of European, Spanish-speaking, and Middle Eastern markets through SilkBridge Capital.
During the roundtable discussion session, representatives of the Hefei Scenario Application Innovation Promotion Center shared Hefei's experiences in scenario application innovation with overseas investors, industry institutions, and cross-border industry service platforms. They showcased Hefei's innovative model that drives the transformation of hard technology into industrial applications through innovative scenarios.
In addition, GUiTEK and the Hefei Scenario Application Innovation Promotion Center utilized the European industrial resource network covered by the summit to facilitate matchmaking between overseas technology application scenarios and Anhui enterprises.
Anhui Wanyu Machinery Equipment Technology, representing Hefei's tech sector, engaged with European industry resources and explored feasible paths for international expansion.
