Such a symposium, held quarterly, aims to link the innovation resources of Central China, represented by Wuhan, Hubei province, with Hefei's industrial ecosystem to promote mutual engagement in investment and talent development, thereby facilitating the deep integration of innovation, industry, finance, and talent chains.
The center represents GUi's first self-operated expansion beyond Hefei. It acts as a bridge connecting talent, technology, and capital between the two innovation-focused cities.
Representatives from government and industry engaged in detailed discussions on policy incentives, scenario application, and capital support, with a view to exploring new paths for industrial collaboration and technological innovation.
During the project roadshow session, seven leading tech firms from Central China showcased their cutting-edge technologies in fields such as vehicular optical communication, semiconductor ion implantation equipment, high-end electronic paste, PQC anti-quantum computing encryption chips, metal soft magnetic powder, high-performance electromagnetic components, and high-energy lasers. Each company presented its technological barriers, patent portfolios, downstream clients, and investment needs for relocating and expanding its headquarters in Hefei.
Officials from Hefei's municipal departments and district authorities highlighted industrial policies, innovation platforms, and talent subsidies at the symposium. They addressed practical issues such as talent recognition, financing, and site selection, ensuring that potential projects align with the industrial positioning of various districts.
A manager at the Hefei Scenario Application Innovation Promotion Center introduced multiple real-world application scenarios across high-end manufacturing, new energy, and computing power, providing a pathway for innovative technologies to be validated and enter the market.
Representatives from the GUiTEK presented its integrated investment and incubation services, emphasizing the company's supportive systems and core capabilities.
This symposium, the third one in a series by Gui's Self-Operated Wuhan Center, underscores its commitment to facilitating the full-cycle implementation of projects and enhancing the regional innovation ecosystem, setting a benchmark for cross-regional collaboration and attracting specialized enterprises and high-level talent to Hefei.
