The 2026 World Manufacturing Convention takes place in Hefei, the capital of East China's Anhui province, from Sept 20 to 23.

The four-day event gathered over 900 enterprises, showcasing more than 10,000 exhibits in the realm of smart manufacturing. Leveraging this convention, the GUi demonstrated its dual focus on both hardware and software innovations, essential for the intelligent upgrade of the manufacturing sector.

In the hardware sector, Istaric, a high-tech enterprise specializing in human-machine interaction and display chip design, showcased its full-stack touch chip and system solutions. It is the world's only supplier of touch chips capable of covering screen sizes ranging from 1 to 110 inches.

Hefei I-TEK OptoElectronics, a leading high-tech enterprise specializing in the research, development, production, and sales of cutting-edge industrial imaging technologies, showcased ultra-high-resolution industrial cameras. Its products can enhance defect detection in high-end manufacturing sectors like new displays and renewable energy.

In the quantum technology field, QuantumCTek presented a miniaturized quantum satellite ground station, significantly reducing equipment weight and deployment time. Origin Quantum showcased a superconducting 180-qubit quantum processor model, marking a significant step in domestic quantum computing hardware. CIQTEK, a global developer and manufacturer of high-value scientific instruments, presented its high-throughput magnetic foreign object detector, which drastically reduces detection times for lithium battery anodes.

In the software domain, Hefei Jiushao Intelligent Technology showcased its complete technological chain from foundational geometry kernels to industrial intelligent systems, unveiling the "AMCAX v6.0" kernel for the first time. Zerith, a company specializing in embodied intelligent robots, presented an unmanned store experience.

GUi's involvement in the convention extended beyond exhibits. The tech hub co-organized the 2026 Hefei Innovation Scenario Competition, encouraging enterprises to tackle real-world industrial challenges across smart manufacturing, low-altitude economy, and smart healthcare. This initiative, alongside strategic collaborations with global partners, underscored its commitment to fostering a robust innovation ecosystem.

The convention also highlighted GUi's efforts to connect industry resources and forge global partnerships. The hub played a key role in a forum themed "Champion's Path, Intelligent Manufacturing Future", where industry leaders shared their insights with startup teams. Additionally, the hub facilitated international collaborations by organizing a conference that facilitated cooperation between China and Malaysia in the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry.

Leveraging this convention, GUi underscored its pivotal role in bridging technology, capital, and market needs to ensure Hefei remains at the forefront of global manufacturing innovation.
