An international immersive circus made its debut on Jan 1 at Hengdian World Studios in Dongyang county-level city of Jinhua, Zhejiang province, offering audiences an unforgettable experience during the New Year's Day holiday.
The circus brought together nearly 50 professional performers from nine countries and featured a diverse array of acts that blended classic and contemporary styles — clown performances, acrobatics, magic shows, dances, and animal acts.
A highlight of the performance was its visually appealing stage design. The large aquatic stage, with a nearly 20-meter lifting space, was enhanced by stunning water effects, including water curtain projections and fountains.
These dreamlike effects created an immersive environment where breathtaking acrobatics and graceful dances intertwined with light and water, delivering a spectacular audiovisual feast for audiences of all ages.
Breaking the boundaries of traditional circus performances, the circus integrates an international performance lineup with a core of family-friendly entertainment, offering visitors a refreshing cultural and tourism experience.
The circus has now commenced regular performances, welcoming visitors from around the world to the theater for a magical, joyful journey, unlocking new experiences in Hengdian's cultural tourism.
