Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province participated in an online conference for Sino-US sister cities on April 29.
Organized by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Sister Cities International of the US, the conference saw the participation of more than 300 representatives from the two countries.
Gao Yaguang, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Wuxi Municipal People's Congress, delivered a speech about innovation economy and international cooperation at the conference.
Gao also introduced the economic and social development of Wuxi and the city's latest achievements in international exchange and innovation economy.
She expressed hope that the online event would further enhance Wuxi's exchanges with San Antonio and other American cities in innovation economy, digital technology, city management, environmental protection and intelligent industries.

Brian Dillard, chief innovation officer of San Antonio, was among those was attended the conference. Dillard talked about San Antonio's experience in building a smart city and expressed his hope of cooperating with Wuxi in intelligent transportation and architecture.
Since establishing sister-city relations in 2012, Wuxi and San Antonio have carried out exchanges in trade, culture and education, all of which have helped both cities secure the Innovation Award from CPAFFC and SCI.
