Many people in Wuxi who have been forced to stay at home for more than two months because of the novel coronavirus outbreak can finally step out of doors and enjoy outdoor activities, as the country resumes work and production nationwide.
Wuxi provides some walking paths for locals to take exercise in open areas while enjoying beautiful natural scenery in springtime.

Gonghuwan Wetland Park
Paved with eco-friendly rubber, the foot path at Gonghuwan Wetland Park in Wuxi Economic Development Zone extends for about three kilometers in total. It is five meters in width and is painted with five colors.
The trail is great for visitors looking for some stunning views of Taihu Lake.

Ezhendang Lake
Located along Ezhendang Lake in Dangkou town, Wuxi's Xishan district, this foot path lies along Ezhendang Lake and extends for about eight kilometers in total.
The lake is a 30-minute drive from downtown Wuxi and gives visitors a chance to escape the noisy city.
