After the Double Ninth Festival, which falls on Oct 24, it is time to admire chrysanthemums in China. Where to find beautifully blooming chrysanthemums in Wuxi?
Huishan Ancient Town and Plum Garden are definitely the answer.

The annual National Chrysanthemum Exhibition will kick off in the two attractions on Oct 26 and will last for a month, until Nov 26.
It is the third time that Wuxi has hosted a national chrysanthemum exhibition, which is organized by the chrysanthemum branch of the Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture.

Huishan Ancient Town is expected to present 13 highlights, including outdoor chrysanthemum landscapes, a chrysanthemum competition, and flower arrangements.
Nearly 50 Chinese cities will present their unique chrysanthemum species at the exhibition. The month-long exhibition will also offer lantern shows, kunqu opera performances, and a food festival.
At Plum Garden, more than 10,000 pots of chrysanthemum have been used to decorate the garden. A flower arrangement exhibition, a chrysanthemum competition, and lantern shows will also be held at the scenic spot.
