To mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and France, the ongoing "Meet Nîmes – Photo Exhibition of Wuxi's Sister City in France" is hosted by Wuxi's foreign affairs office in the Wuxi International Conference Center and Wuxi Civic Center from March 20 to May 1.
Nîmes is referred to as both the Rome of France and the City of Art and History. The exhibition showcases the city's beautiful landscape, rich culture, and long history, and reviews the many splendid moments over years of friendly exchanges.
In 2007, Wuxi and Nîmes officially forged sister-city relations. Since then, the two cities have witnessed close exchanges and cooperation between governments and non-governmental organizations in trade, culture, medical care, and public health.
