The overseas intelligent factory is expected to produce 10 million pressure sensors per year using its flexible automatic production lines after being put into operation as early as the end of 2025.
Why choose Penang as the first stop for overseas expansion? Zhou explained that reputed as the Silicon Valley of the East, Penang boasts first-class infrastructure as well as strong semiconductor assembly and test, high-end manufacturing, and electronic and electrical industries.
He added that it is easy for them to look for supporting upstream and downstream industries.
Specializing in the R&D and production of pressure sensors, Trensor exports over 60 percent of its products to Europe and North America, and has become an important supplier of renowned overseas automotive OEMs and system integrators.
