Wuxi in Jiangsu province will host the final leg of the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series from Oct 9 to 12, according to the official website of the International Skating Union.
Wuxi won the right to host the event with its geographical advantages, pleasant natural environment, superior economic strength, complete sports facilities, and a commitment to the development of figure skating.

Over 400 contestants from more than 30 countries and regions including Japan, South Korea, and the United States are expected to put on a spectacular figure-skating competition.
The preceding legs of the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series will be held in Riga, Ostrava, Bangkok, Istanbul, Gdansk, and Liubljana in succession from August to October.
The current rise of winter sports in Wuxi aligns with the city's booming sports industry development in general in recent years, especially in taekwondo and dancesport. To date, Wuxi has hosted the Chinese Figure Skating Club League and the national figure skating proficiency test.
