The second Wuxi Innovation and Development Conference for the Spatial Information Industry took place in Liangxi district on Oct 9, marking the opening of the Software-Defined Satellite Technology Conference.
At the conference, the Yangtze River Delta Spatial Information Industry Ecological Functional Platform, the production and education base of software-defined satellite technology, and other platforms were inaugurated.

Liangxi Sci-Tech City attracted 8 billion yuan ($1.13 billion) projects from over 20 enterprises. In comparison, six industrial funds worth more than 18 billion yuan agreed to empower the future industry in Wuxi during the conference.
Liangxi district and Liangxi Sci-Tech City have also inked strategic cooperation agreements with GNSS & LBS Association of China and other institutes, universities, and industry associations to drive the development of Wuxi's spatial information industry.
Six academicians and entrepreneurs were invited to share their insights on the new trends and technologies and offer suggestions for the city's spatial information industry.
