The 2024 HLA Round Lihu Lake Half Marathon is set to commence on Nov 3 in the scenic Binhu district of Wuxi, Jiangsu province. This year's event will see a record-breaking 20,000 participants.
A total of 43,828 runners from 26 countries and regions registered for the event, with entry determined through a lottery system. Among them, 17,000 will compete in the half marathon and 3,000 in the fun run.

This year, the event is introducing staggered starts to enhance the runner experience. Participants will be sorted into six groups: A, B, C, D, E, and F. Groups A, B, and C will start with the first gun, and groups D, E, and F will follow 20 minutes later, ensuring a smoother flow.

To enrich the experience, Binhu district has curated a selection of cultural and tourism treats for the runners. These include local delicacies and half-price tickets to 15 attractions, such as Lingshan Mountain, Yuantouzhu Island, the Three Kingdoms and Water Margin Theme Park, Nianhua Bay, and Sunac Resort.
