Rudong promotes collaboration with SOEs in Beijing

Rudong county of Nantong, Jiangsu held a cooperation forum targeted at key State-owned enterprises in Beijing on Jan 18. By showcasing the county's strengths in green energy, land resources, and business-friendly environment, the event aimed to increase Rudong's visibility and foster new opportunities for mutual growth.
Over 40 SOEs participated in the forum, during which agreements for 15 projects were signed. These include an integrated energy project, a green rubber project, a parallel-control-based energy storage system, and a targeted tumor drug research and development project.
Xu Chenggen, general manager of the Jiangsu branch of China General Nuclear Power Group, highlighted Rudong's advantages: "With its ample industrial land, excellent ports, and favorable business environment, Rudong offers great investment opportunities. Our collaboration, especially in offshore wind power, has been fruitful. The government has established a wind power industry alliance to help companies expand their markets."
Cui Xuejun, chairman of China Chemical Industry News, praised Rudong's development momentum: "Rudong has shown impressive growth in recent years. I hope it continues prioritizing innovation, scaling up industries, enhancing quality, and optimizing layouts. By completing industrial chains and fostering upstream-downstream collaboration, Rudong can attract major projects and achieve high-quality growth."
