The Shuangdian (Nanjing) Service Industry Investment Promotion Conference was held in Nanjing on March 16, resulting in the signing of six high-quality service industry projects.
These projects span various sectors, including petroleum trade, resource supply management services, solid waste utilization, heat exchanger, fresh food supply chain, and e-commerce, warehousing, and logistics for electronic products. Once completed, these projects are expected to generate annual taxable sales of 650 million yuan ($89.69 million).
In 2024, Shuangdian town in Rudong, Nantong nurtured 24 enterprises above the designated scale in the service industry, achieving total revenue of 774 million yuan, marking a 148 percent growth compared to 2021. This impressive growth is attributed to Shuangdian's integration of agriculture, culture, and tourism and continuously exploring large-scale breeding and farming industries. The town also sees e-commerce as a key driver for the transformation and upgrade of its service sector.
Liu Li, vice-mayor of Rudong, commented, "The signing of these projects is highly significant. Not only does it reflect the deep alignment between the development of enterprises and Shuangdian's industrial direction, but it also represents a strong partnership driven by innovation. This will inject new momentum into the economic development of Shuangdian and Rudong."
