Print PrintDongying in East China's Shandong province has significantly improved its business environment by streamlining government services for companies.
A key example is the recent integration of utility registration processes for construction projects. Instead of having to contact the water, electricity, gas, and heating departments separately, businesses can now register on a single online application. This change reduces the time and effort required, making it easier for developers to move forward with their projects.
This initiative is part of Dongying's broader efforts to improve government service efficiency. The city has successfully implemented 12 out of 13 national-regulated government service optimizations, significantly reducing administrative delays. The city's commitment to a smooth, efficient process is reflected in its 94.5 percent online service rate, allowing companies to handle most tasks remotely.
Dongying is also focused on supporting large projects, providing tailored assistance and dedicated service teams. Through these efforts, the city has created an environment that encourages business investment, with a significant number of industrial projects already underway.
By prioritizing business needs and simplifying procedures, Dongying continues to strengthen its reputation as a city that's competitive, open, and business-friendly.
