The Qingdao Multinationals Summit will be held in Qingdao on Oct 19-20. It has been approved by the State Council.

It will be jointly organized by the Ministry of Commerce and the Shandong Provincial People's Government.

With the tagline "Multinationals and China", the summit aims to promote dialogue, cooperation and mutual benefit.

The summit is geared toward leaders of multinational corporations and will be made into a new platform for the country' to further opening-up.

A series of activities such as closed-door meetings, parallel forums, multinational corporation road shows, promotional events and exhibitions will be launched.

The summit will see the release of the Declaration of the Qingdao Multinationals Summit and Qingdao Multinationals Summit Initiative 2019.
